Seasons Change ~ A Cup of Courage from RJ Jackson The Courage Giver

Summer is approaching. Warmer weather,  family vacations, and family gatherings will soon fill our days with fun or frustration.  As the season change, decide that you will make a few changes yourself.  Choose to allow the longer days to be filled with love and laughter. Choose to surrender the pain of the past to the dawn of a new day.  Choose to detach from every person who deters you from your destiny. Choose to be real about how you feel and realize that everything you repress will turn into stress. Choose a new beginning.  Remember that all things have a season, and that all seasons must come to an end. Summer is approaching….. choose to partner with God has He prepares to do a new thing in your life.

”TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:O EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven” Ecc 3:1

A Sip of Courage Sweet and Simple!

Do not be anxious concerning tomorrow. You will not encounter anything that God is not already aware. His mercy is concealed within every storm cloud. His grace is ever flowing. His wisdom has prepared a solution for every problem you will face. Stay focused. Remember, there are  always good opportunities knocking at your door. However, when they knock – don’t let them in.  If you do, the great opportunities will come along and you will not have room in your life for them.  Except only the great things God has in store for you. Worry less, pray more.  Never fear His faithfulness. Let go of small ideals and hold on to big dreams. Launch out into the deep and swim for your life. You can do whatever you set your heart to do and always remember that I believe in you!

Have you ever decided to make a quick stop at the store, Wal-Mart or the grocery store, after work to pick up one or two items.  In and out you think! However as you walk into the store you can’t help but notice the long lines that have already began to form.  No doubt you are hoping they will all have checked out before you reach the cashier. Reality check; that’s not happening. Fortunately you see a short line! You speed walk across the isles praying to get to the line before anyone cuts in front of you.  Your speed walking pays off and you make it just in the nick of time!!  There are two people in front of you. One is completing the transaction and the other has not yet began to place the items on the belt. Upon review of the person’s cart you realize that the line was short because the person has at least 50 items.  Talk to me… but keep it real… ”What do you do”? “Do you ask the person if you can go in front of him or her”? “Do you wait patiently (even for the price check on the unmarked item)”? “Do you give the person an intimidating look that scares him or her into asking you if you would like to go first”? “Or do you stand there with an attitude because he or she did not invite you to go ahead of him or her”? Seriously, “What do you do”?

And if you were the person with the 50 items what would you do? Talk to me  but keep it Real with RJ!  Courage Required to Keep it Real with RJ
